As winter seemed to creep up in the blink of an eye this year - blanketing the mountains with snow a month earlier than we typically see - fall and its respective palette of colors was put on hold for a bit. But once the leaves had the opportunity to change, they did not disappoint. We were left with a more-than-spectacular backdrop up and down the Roaring Fork Valley. It's no surprise that fall is a favorite season for so many people.
