What is a River Steward?

Are you a River Steward?

The River Steward board members wanted to clarify those exact questions, so we launched a new section to the Roaring Fork Conservancy's site to explain things a bit more clearly.

Basically, we are a group of young river enthusiasts who want to spread the word about why the rivers in this valley are important and why you too should care. There are many ways for you to get involved, but they are all highlighted on our River Steward Information page. The first step is to become a River Steward with a $20 membership fee. With that, you will get discounts to RFC events as well as other benefits when you take advantage of river rafting trips or a day of guided fly fishing. Again, all of the details are on the River Steward Information sheet. So check it out and sign up to be a member today, join our events and learn what you can do to help protect our beautiful rivers!
